Inspired by the classic 300SL. This car was the fastest in its day and its beauty and simplicity drove me to build a replica of the car below:

I started by developing a custom framework with 2 l-motors for drive and a narrower chassis with a nimble turning radius. All of the classic features were motorized with the Lego power functions. Blending old and new Technic Lego pieces to create this black beast

Very nice, the front is really well done.
Small comment about the back windshield (where you have the infrared receivers)
Isn't it possible to make it a little more "round" by using flexes instead of the two bent liftarms?

the front is not really the best part of the MOC...

To be honest I don't recognize the original model ... look the proportions of the radiator grill : it goes nearly from one light to the other.
The real bumper is very delicate and thin, your MOC looks like a Gotham City 300SL !

I tried to create a better looking back end to this car. That was difficult due to all of the batteries, motors etc.
Anyway, here is the revised rear end and video below:

So, for now, I think you will have to choose between design and PFS ...

Yes, very true Bayou.
I am torn between the mechanical functions and the motorized ones.

What does PFS stand for?

Power FunctionS.

in French, we generally use "PFS" instead of just "PF".
Think outside the box.

Is that so ?

Never read/heard anything like this on a French forum.

Whatever.
