This custom creation was created with a variety of old and new Technic pieces for a different effect to the final build. Designed by an actual Porsche mechanic and myself.
After way too many adjustments I am happy to say this is the final modification to my Porsche 911 Lego supercar. Using 1 med and 1 large motor, 1 servo motor, 2 receivers and 2 remotes. There must be over 2800pcs in this car. The weight of the vehicle is 4 pounds or 1.8 kg.

2,800 parts, really ?
It seems to me that it is quite a high estimate...

The model works ok. Regarding the look, the car is too angular.
Sadly, since January 2016, we will always compare it to 42056. :pamafote:
Think outside the box.

Yes it will always be compared, but Lego went ahead and created
Many new pieces to design the car the way they wanted. My friend
And I simply love Porsche so we decided to create a model with what
We had. Lego is all about building something with the pieces you
Have on hand with imagination.
My first attempt at this car is here:

And my second attempt is here:

So after tons of trial and error, I was able to
Get the vehicle to represent the look of a
Porsche much better after much practice.
Practice makes perfect... Right? ;)

I certainly agree with your statement.

I wish every AFOL could understand that achieving a successful model requires a lot of time, dedication and skill.

I feel kinda sad for people who think they spent a lot of time on their project and can not do any better because they worked a ten or a couple of hours on it...
